After a delay of more than 90 days, Spain’s LaLiga will return to action on Thursday, June 11 and will feature matches every day of the week until the season ends.
LaLiga President Javier Tebas revealed the first seven days of fixtures today, which will include all of Spain’s top division sides in action. Beginning with the Seville derby on Thursday, June 11 with Sevilla versus Real Betis, we now know the TV schedule through June 18 for viewers in the United States.
In order to make as many games available to viewers worldwide on television, the vast majority of matches will be played at different kickoff times.
In the first week, some of the matches will include:
• Real Madrid vs. Valencia,
• Athletic vs. Atletico Madrid,
• Mallorca vs. Barcelona,
• and more.
While the Bundesliga led the way in bringing a major soccer league back from the coronavirus pandemic, LaLiga will be the first league to maximize the television experience by broadcasting matches every single day of the week. In contrast, the English Premier League will return on Wednesday, June 17 with matches on most days of the week, but not all.
