EPL commentator assignments on NBC Sports, Gameweek 3

Mohamed Salah and Liverpool host Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Arsenal this Saturday, August 24 at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC and Universo, highlighting NBC Sports’ Premier League action this week.

Heading into the third week of the 2019-20 Premier League season, Liverpool and Arsenal are the only clubs who have won both of their first two matches. Salah and Aubameyang shared the 2018-19 Golden Boot Award (along with Sadio Mane), and each have already netted goals for their teams this season. Arlo White calls the match, joined by Lee Dixon and Graeme Le Saux.

Saturday’s Manchester City-Tottenham was the most-watched match of the weekend with 1.3 million viewers across NBC Sports, NBCSports.com, the NBC Sports app, and Telemundo Deportes. Chelsea-Leicester City was the most watched match on Sunday, posting a TAD of 736,000 viewers, up 44% from NBCSN’s August -September 2018 average for the Sunday 11 a.m. ET Premier League window.

This weekend’s match coverage begins on Friday, August 23 at 2 p.m. ET with Premier League Live, followed by the first match of the weekend – Aston Villa v. Everton at 3 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Everton look for their second win of the season, while Aston Villa hope to collect their first three points back in the Premier League.

Match coverage on Saturday begins at 7:30 a.m. ET as Christian Pulisic and Chelsea visit Norwich City on NBCSN, following Premier League Mornings at 7 a.m. ET. In his first start for Chelsea, Pulisic netted his first assist for the team last Wednesday against Liverpool in the UEFA Super Cup. Chelsea aim for their first win this season against newly promoted Norwich City, who collected their first victory last weekend over Newcastle.

At 10 a.m. ET, NBCSN and Universo present Manchester United v. Crystal Palace. Manchester United look to rebound after a 1-1 draw with Wolves, while Crystal Palace come off a narrow 1-0 loss to Sheffield United. Also at 10 a.m. ET, NBC Sports Gold offers exclusive coverage of three matches: Brighton & Hove Albion v. Southampton, Sheffield United v. Leicester City, and Watford v. West Ham.

Live coverage on Sunday, August 25 begins at 7 a.m. ET with NBCSN’s newly expanded two-hour Premier League Mornings, followed by a doubleheader on NBCSN: Bournemouth v. Manchester City at 9 a.m. ET and Tottenham v. Newcastle at 11:30 a.m. ET. Tottenham come off a 2-2 draw with Manchester City, while Newcastle look for their first win after two tough losses to open the season. White calls the match, joined by Dixon.

NBC Sports Gold wraps up this week’s Premier League coverage with Wolverhampton Wanderers v. Burnley at 11:30 a.m. ET. Burnley look to rebound after a narrow loss to Arsenal, while Wolves aim for their first victory of the season at home.

Rebecca Lowe hosts Goal Zone, Premier League Mornings, and Premier League Live this weekend, joined by former USMNT player Kyle Martino and former Premier League footballer Robbie Mustoe.
